If you are are using text as your link you may not want it to appear so for example you may have a link to a custom show that relates to specific questions the audience may or may not ask but you dont want to advertise that link on the slide.

Open the Font dialog box and change the Underline Style to Single Line and the Underline Colour to the colour of your slide background.

Your best option is to remove the hyperlink from the text and then place an invisible rectangle on top of it.

To your audience it will look like you have clicked on the text to activate the hyperlink but in fact you will have clicked on the invisible shape.
